![]() Still getting Activation Error Message wi.. I think yours is the correct answer, though I did end up reformatting my laptop anyway and installing the new CS3 installer. This is what finally worked for me. Jeff, As I mentioned to lovetoread. I ended up reformatting the computer (it was something I had been wanting to do for some time for other reasons, not just my problems with CS3). After that, I downloaded the new CS3 installer, and entered the new serial number. I made sure to click . So far so good! I've been using the product for a few days now. I do not use CS3 for work. I occasionally use it for a few side projects (mostly for family and friends) and personal use. So in other words, I can't quite justify the cost of CC since I'm not a full time graphic designer, or even a part time one. My understanding is that it is subscription only. If it was a one cost thing, that would be different for me. I'd pay for the most recent version, and use it like I use CS3 until it is too old. I know CS3 is quite old, and I'm sure eventually I will have to make a decision to upgrade when I need a new computer. For now CS3 works for what I need it for. Also I use Photoshop + Illustrator, so I don't want to just get the subscription for Photoshop, but the subscription for Photoshop + Illustrator + Everything else is too much. Home; Support; Support Knowledgebase PDF pages don't appear in web browser window (Acrobat 7.0 and 3D, Adobe Reader 7.0-8.0, and Acrobat 8) Adobe Acrobat or Adobe. Trying to install Adobe Acrobat 8 on Windows 8. It says I need the file AdobePDF.dll on Windows Vista CD-ROM. Where can I find this file?
